Frabel Glass Art Studio

This crystal glass sculpture of a man reaching upward for the stars was designed by Hans Frabel, principal artist of the Frabel Studio for execution in molten crystal boron glass. Like all Frabel Studio sculptures the Reaching for the Stars is made entirely by hand from molten boron crystal glass. As a result no two of these crystal glass Reach for the Stars sculptures will ever be identical. At various times during the course of human history, one or more individuals have dared to scale the highest mountain in an effort to reach out to touch the stars which shimmered just beyond its peaks. Undeterred by any natural obstacle, this striving continues until finally rewarded by success. This sculpture can serve as a tribute to those who exemplify this irrepressible Spirit of Achievement
