Longfellow Gravity at Phipps

Frabel's botanical exhibition "Life in the Gardens - Frabel at Phipps", opened on May 20, 2009. This is the largest exhibition at Botanical Gardens Frabel has ever done and every time the exhibition becomes a bit bigger. Two 53ft tractor trailers were needed to transport all the glass to this beautiful botanical garden and it took a group of 15 people 7 long days to get everything installed.


There are 2 new installations at this exhibition. The first one is the "Longfellow Gravity" installation, that consists of 3 large cubes that seem to tumble down a hill into a pond,

Michael Douglas is awarded a Frabel

Michael Douglas is awarded a Frabel glass sculpture for the Savannah Film Festival. Hosted by the Savannah College of Art and Design, the annual festival presents a full range of cinematic creativity from both award-winning professionals and emerging student filmmakers.


In a special tribute, SCAD President Paula S. Wallace presented Douglas and the Redgrave siblings with the award recognizing their thespian accomplishments.

Frabel Studio made a special appearance on HGTV's, Deserving Design hosted by Vern Yip. The episode that aired on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at 9:00pm, focused on the redecorating and design of ΔΑΧ's Sorority House on the Georgia Tech campus. Four of the sorority sisters were selected to visit and tour Frabel Studio, to view the Artist at work and to receive a special treat. Hillary Clinton receives a one-of-a-kind glass sculpture

On January 30th, 2008, Hans Godo Frabel with several of Frabel Associates attended the 2008 Jefferson Jackson Dinner, presented by the Democratic Party of Georgia hosted at the Georgia World Congress Center. Two custom designed Fräbel awards were presented to Congressman John Lewis and the Honorable Max Cleland. After the democratic ceremony and award presentation, Senator Hillary Clinton lead her campaign by speech and was afterwards privately presented with her very own Frabel one-of-a-kind sculpture. A Taste for Chocolate explores the varied uses of cacao over the centuries and the cultural influence of chocolate on society.
